About the Project

This unique kitchen and bar is the sister establishment of another successful Conboy and Mannion project, Agricola. Named for the iconic train branch on the Northeast Corridor in Princeton, Dinky Bar and Kitchen was built inside the original 1918 stone train station where passengers once waited to board. A mainstay on the Princeton campus, it was our mission to maintain the historical integrity of the external structure while creating an inviting and easygoing atmosphere inside.

What We Did

A relatively small area for an eatery, this 1,800 square foot establishment had to be built in such a way that it maximized the available space while ensuring that the historical quality and structure were not compromised. Our client's concept for an intimate and inviting bar with inspired food was successfully executed by our team's ability to construct a space that perfectly matched his vision. Dinky Bar and Kitchen is a great example of Conboy and Mannion's unique ability to construct a physical space that perfectly aligns with our client's original concept.
